smart phone , PC what's the difference

Today I read an article
(Motorola's Atrix 4G: A Phone Thinks It's a Laptop

The difference between mobile phone and personal computer is not as big as the last decade.Take my phone (htc hero )as an example. It's hardware component is just like my personal computer 15 years ago. And as the article says, the hardware component of Motorola Atrix 4G is ridiculous high(CPU is 1 GHz amazing!!!!).
Imagine 10 years later, everyone walking on the street, having there mobile computer anywhere they are. When they got home, they just plug the mobile device into a duck which can connected to the keyboard and mouse...etc. (Actually the Motorola Atrix 4G can do that). There is no personal computer or in other words, PC is one of the component of the mobile phone. Using RISC(Reduce Instruction Set) cpu(such as arm), and use cloud tech to communicate and calculate. This is the future I think.
There are still many technical problems to be solved such as the battery life and temperature.  But I think the near future, this science fiction may really come true.
